2 Birds in Paradise

Birds of paradise were the favorite flower of both my mother and grandmother. In this painting, the two birds are sharing some wine. The shorter flower has both of her arms around the glasses, while the taller one stands with one hand on hip, and the other hand resting against the wine glass. Dew drops form the eyes of each bird and the two enjoy a brief moment, filled with rich color, in what must be true paradise.
